Today, we experience memories through digital visual means such as our phone photos and videos. Current devices rely on visual and auditory recordings to capture moments. Reminisce translates memories into a tactile medium, exploiting the power and beauty of haptic memory. The device records ambience (in the form of ambient noise) and translates this into tactile movement via a shape changing sheet. The recorded ambience is embedded into the sheet and can be replayed to reminisce about a moment or memory.
